Visual Merchandising Manager QAtar Duty Free

**About the role**
Responsible for defining, developing, planning, communicating and implementing a monthly visual merchandising plan for all QDF branded stores, including windows and prominent feature displays to attract, engage and motivate the customer towards making a purchase. The Visual Merchandising Manager will use his/her design skills, working with the Category/Brand Managers and their category/concept strategies to create and implement imaginative and eye catching retail displays. The role includes the following responsibilities:

- Develop, communicate and implement powerful visual merchandising solution/strategy for all existing luxury boutique/concept stores such as: Hermes, Burberry, Moncler, Bulgari, Gucci, Marmalade Market, etc. and any new brands to the business.
- Work with all boutique stores on correct and seasonal visual implementation quarterly (summer, spring, winter - theme & layout), brief the Management team on new visual merchandising (VM) solutions to ensure our stores are in line with brand standards and QDF stores have imaginative and eye catching retail displays to achieve sales targets.
- Plan, communicate and implement key QDF events such as Chinese Pavilion, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc. and other promotional events ensuring themes and colour schemes for displays are eye catching and fit the purpose, ensuring visual experiences in and out of the retail experience are excellent. Create a VM calendar for the financial year to ensure accurate seasonal display changes.
- Design and implement stunning layouts and windows to maximize sales and profit levels of stores.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with the layout guidelines as well as to gain feedback from the store management teams.

**About You**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
- Experience working in a senior visual merchandising position within retail
- Minimum of 2 years VM experience in multi category environment Job Specific Skills: Essential
- Command of English language
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Excellent knowledge of developing trends in both fashion and visual merchandising
- Ability to communicate visual merchandising concepts with clarity and passion
- Talent to successfully marry commerciality with creativity
- Keeping up to date with VM best practices and innovation tools and techniques
- Excellent creative vision with ability to elevate brand and customer journey
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills for existing VM team and shop floor team. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
