Lead Security Officer

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for day-to-day CCTV and Access Control System matters in Corporate Offices, Staff Accommodation, Qatar Distribution Center (QDC). You will also be responsible for managing Physical Security related operations which include working with suppliers to address faults and rectify issues as applicable including planning, execution and finalization according to scheduled timelines.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and evaluate the progress, performance, and productivity of the CCTV operations across all facilities.
- Review, develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures as needed for Physical Security systems
- Manage policies and procedures for maintenance support to each out station.
- Collaborate with the QR Security Facilities team when dealing with incidents within QR building facilities.
- Responsible for overseeing and assessing the CCTV cameras installed in QR Facilities, making recommendations for potential upgrades.
- Leading ongoing investigations, you’ll work to establish the facts related to these cases. Additionally, you’ll review investigation reports conducted by the QR CCTV team before sending them to management and QR stakeholders.
- Role involves handling investigations at QR facilities related to CCTV findings and any misuse of company-provided access cards. You’ll ensure that corrective action plans resulting from audits and inspections align with defined objectives.
- Identify areas that require improvement and offer technical expertise and advice to entities carrying out these improvements.
- Basic Knowledge of networking and cabling concepts.
- Coordinate with IT team for site readiness and other security related matters on timely basis.
- Coordinate with Outstation team to obtain conformance on policy adherence towards physical security systems.
- Manage incidents in case of anything suspicious, and ensuring proper reporting and escalation as needed.
- Lead and participate in individual and group projects related to CCTV operations and establish strong business relationships with internal partners, such as QR corporate Security, Facilities Management, Housing, Customer Experience Department, HR Separations, and IT departments to facilitate collaboration on projects and streamline issue resolution within the CCTV operation centre.

**About you**
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Experience in supervision of personnel and managing projects
- Aviation Security background/study is highly desirable.
- Command of English language
- Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office and Oracle
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Possess Qatari Driving License or successfully obtain one in 60 days
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability foster teamwork among team members
