**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- System Development and Maintenance:

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level cards and payments systems, including card management systems, payment gateways, and digital wallets.
- Implement and integrate payment processing solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Technical Leadership:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with the IT Team Lead to define technical strategies and roadmaps for cards and payments systems.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high-quality standards in software development.
- Project Delivery:

- Participate in the end-to-end delivery of IT projects related to cards and payments, from requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and vendors to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Manage technical risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the payments industry, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the bank’s competitive edge.
- Drive the adoption of modern development practices, such as agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Compliance and Security:

- Ensure all cards and payments systems comply with relevant regulations, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and local banking laws.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive customer data and prevent fraud.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate and support payment solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to SLAs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, risk management, and compliance teams, to ensure alignment on technical priorities and deliverables.

**Qualifications**
- Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT, with a focus on payment systems and card management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level payment solutions (e.g., card management systems, payment gateways, digital wallets).
- Strong knowledge of payment processing standards, protocols, and technologies (e.g., ISO 8583, EMV, NFC, tokenization).
- Experience with cloud-based payment solutions and API integrations is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
