Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of assigned programs and projects, ensuring timely and within-budget implementation while providing expert support to Project Management teams and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day project operations from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all business and technical aspects of projects.
- Regularly evaluate project progress to ensure compliance with schedules and plans.
- Track and manage project interdependencies, risks, and issues, escalating as needed.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project deliverables.
- Balance demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk to achieve project success.
- Communicate project deliverables, risks, and issues effectively across project teams.
- Monitor and adjust project budgets based on financial analysis.
- Participate in project meetings, addressing risks and identifying solutions.
- Set performance expectations and manage the development of project team members.
- Provide expert advice and direction at key points in the project process.
- Maintain and update project documentation, improving tools and templates as needed.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken for project deviations.
- Define and agree on project success criteria with the project sponsor.
- Ensure projects comply with best practices, legislative requirements, and organizational guidelines.
- Supervise and guide project team members, providing feedback and support.
- Foster communication and coordination within the project team and with stakeholders.
- Represent the department professionally in management meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Develop and maintain professional networks to share ideas and collaborate on project issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Regularly report progress and communicate updates to the Line Manager.
- Engage with patients and ensure patient safety considerations are integrated into project work.
- Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication.
- Partner with the Line Manager to identify and mitigate risks in project work.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality for sensitive information.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with 3-4 years in healthcare project management.
- Awareness of international healthcare management practices.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Good strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, assess options, and draw conclusions.
- Capable of multitasking and managing multiple activities proactively.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle activities.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidence, and sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Excellent customer service and detail orientation.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: QAR20,000.00 - QAR24,000.00 per month
