**Job Title**: Captain Waiter

**Job Summary**:
The Captain Waiter is responsible for supervising and coordinating the service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent guest service. The role involves maintaining high standards of service, managing table assignments, supporting waitstaff, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. **Arabic speakers are preferred**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service staff during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
- Assign tables and manage section allocations for waiters and servers.
- Welcome guests, take orders when required, and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen and bar.
- Check table settings, presentation, and cleanliness before service begins.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service timing.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Train and guide new service staff on menu knowledge, service standards, and customer care.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Assist in daily opening and closing duties, cash handling, and end-of-day reports.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, cashier, and stewarding teams to ensure seamless service flow.
- Promote menu items, specials, and upsell where appropriate to enhance guest experience and revenue.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Hospitality or F&B Service preferred.
- **Minimum 2-4 years of experience** in food and beverage service, including at least **1 year in a supervisory or captain role.**:

- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent knowledge of menu items, table service, and POS systems.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and lead a team effectively.
- Presentable, courteous, and guest-oriented.
- Proficiency in English; **Arabic speaking preferred.**:

- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
