**Job Position: Technical Manager**

**Job Location**:Doha, Qatar

**Requirements**:

- Currently based in Qatar
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Third-party material Testing

**Job Descriptions**:

- To ensure that the documented calibration method/reference standards are followed during the calibration.
- To prepare a plan for assuring the quality of calibration results and to conduct the inter laboratory comparisons, re-calibration and replicate calibrations etc.
- To promote a synergistic work culture.
- To discuss with the Quality Manager and identify the training needs of the employees based on technical review of records and provide the same in consultation with the Quality Manager.
- To ensure that proper accommodation and environment is maintained in the calibration areas.
- To maintain records for re-calibration, verification by outside lab; and proficiency testing participation records as a part of quality assurance techniques.
- To initiate corrective / preventive actions based on the feedback of the quality assurance activities.
- To ensure that periodic monitoring of the environment and accommodation is done and records as per the documented procedure is maintained.
- To ensure that all the available literatures including manufacturers manual are followed.
- To prepare preventive maintenance schedule and to ensure follow-up of preventive maintenance for all identified equipments.
- To ensure proper and effective follow-up of intermediate checks on the equipments to maintain validity of calibration.
- To ensure that breakdown maintenance are handled, as early as possible to reduce down time of the equipments, also the instruments suffers from the breakdown are got re-calibrated before using it in the routine testing.
- To verify and review re-calibration records.
- To ensure that all the equipments are traceable to the national / international standards and having valid relationship.
- To ensure periodic calibration of the reference standards before the validity expires.
- To ensure optimum use of available resources as a part of productive work.
- To ensure that the proper records are maintained at all stages of calibration and quality assurance activities.
- To ensure safe and proper handling of the instruments throughout the laboratory.
- To ensure that the stringent follow-up of documented management system in the laboratory for
- technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
- To identify and to provide technical training to all laboratory employees in consultation with the General Manager.
- To review the measurement uncertainty as calculated periodically for each instruments or parameters in the calibration discipline.
- To handle all the complaint in technical areas and analyse the same.
- To identify or develop method for calibration and develop the facilities for calibration.
- To report to the General Manager for technical matters and performance of QC/QA checks of Laboratory.

**Applications**:
