**Job Summary**:
MEP Manager leads the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects and design works. Works with the Project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Plan, manage, lead, control, MEP work team.
- Ensure management of the MEP design process in accordance with company policy, procedures and the Design Management Plan.
- Develop the MEP Project design brief (concept) and maintain by regular review.
- Manage the MEP design including all inputs, coordination and deliverables to achieve the time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Arrange full construction (MEP Installation & planning) support during the design phase to maximize constructability.
- Set-up & monitor a MEP design quality plan, linking designers quality plans with a regular review and audit function.
- Ensure that the design intent and design performance criteria are maintained through the design development and construction process.
- Report immediately any event which will significantly change previous forecasts and/or expectations of the next forecasts
- Lead problem solving and resolution of design issues.
- Identify issues causing risk or delay to the project.
- Organize/manage design review meetings, workshops and reports during design phases
- Advise the Project Director / Manager on all matters pertaining to cost scope and schedule with regards to design development.
- Mentor and direct the team in regards to skills development, review progress and results, and provide direction and coaching as needed.
- Prioritize work & allocate it to the team accordingly.

**Education & Experience**:

- Master/Bachelor degree in **Mechanical/Electrical **Engineering or related field
- At least **10-15** years of working experiences of management level and MEP designing skill
- Must possess UPDA Grade-**A**.
- Computer literacy especially **MS Office, Ms. Project, AutoCAD**.
- Excellent knowledge of **MEP System**

- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks across the project phases.
- Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and low-voltage systems.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Leadership skills & Team player.
- Ability to work with both Supervision groups and design groups
- Be self-motivated in attaining position objectives and in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
- Collaborate with appropriate staff to meet goals and objectives of project.
- Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
- Decision taking & Team Management skills

**Salary**: QAR5.00 - QAR10.00 per month
