About the role

We are hiring for your skills to be accountable for the development, management and communication of HR policies for Qatar Airways Group (QRG), including outstations, in accordance with Qatar Airways strategy, rules and regulations as well as local operating legislative framework. Coordinates with all concerned organisational units in order to propose, develop and establish a strategic policy framework. Ensure implementation, realises and drives improvements to ensure the achievement of the QRG goals through effective people policies and management practices in order to enhance the overall employee experience.

Other operational duties would include:

- Aligns HR Policy strategy with the overall HR strategy as set by CPO and provides leadership on the development of appropriate HR Policies across the QRG. Proposes current and future policy changes and requirements to support strategic aims in conjunction with HR senior management.
- Ensures that HR Policies are aligned with the Group’s long term vision and offer a competitive advantage.
- Provides advice and plans policy changes, alignment and enhancements based on current and future legal frameworks/developments for both Doha and Outstations, to ensure HR Policies protect QRG’s interests and people.
- Review, develop, apply, promote and monitor corporate HR Policies and procedures to ensure HR Policies are the main source of information and reference for all stakeholders.
- Accountable for the design of new policies as required either for legal compliance, best practice or existing operational framework / guidelines to ensure QRG is compliant, protected and supports a positive employee experience during the entire employee life cycle.
- Provide specialist advice and expertise to managers and employees on all aspects of HR policies to help with both clarification, interpretation and overall understanding of the relevant policies.
- Regularly communicate and support on policy queries from line Managers and employees ensuring that information is accurate and succinct.

**Qualifications**:
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the HR -Remuneration and OD Team.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
- Experience and / or qualifications in HR or Law
- Working knowledge of policy development, maintenance and publication within a large corporate or complex international setting.

Preferred
- International Airline experience
- A Post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management
- CIPD/Aviation or a related qualification will be an advantage
