Clinical Operational Supervisor

The role is critical in the daily operations of the institution to provide efficient administration and optimal staffing. She manages the daily activities within the non-medical departments, staffing, the optimum capacity of each clinic, the interdepartmental workflow, making sure that our non-medical team of professionals are adhering to the policies and regulations by the regulatory body, developing plans to improve patient experience and clinical efficiency. She aids in the oversight of business activities and program administration such as billing, insurance matters, optimal staffing, customer satisfaction, complaint handling, public relations, and marketing. She should have a knowledge of state laws in the medical industry, abiding by the policies and regulations of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH).
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Abides by Zadie Clinic’s Vision-Mission and Objectives.
- Develops and implements operational plans for emergencies such as machine malfunction, emergence of new virus strain or increase in Covid 19 infection affecting manpower, etc.
- Ensures 100% compliance in protocols for medical care such as infection control procedures within the entire premises, social distancing, etc.
- Manages the healthcare facility’s policies and procedures, ensuring that best practices are followed, and resolving cases where the facility is out of compliance.
- Provides training to staff on relevant topics such as safe work practices, emergency response, new health regulations from MOPH, etc.
- Finds innovative ways to optimize the level of healthcare while also reducing the facility’s costs.
- Responsible for operational management to ensure zero deficit on monthly performance.
- Oversees the processing of insurance claims, rejections, and appeals, as well as liaising with the insurance providers to receive their payments on time.
- Addresses significant patient issues and staffing needs and makes modifications to ensure equitable staffing arrangements.
- Oversees the implementation, monitoring, and resolution of operational services, and sets guidelines for effective, efficient, and patient-centered clinical operation. Develops new policies and procedures, as needed, to ensure smooth operations.
- Creates and maintains an environment that promotes the safest possible standards, methods, and operations to assure the safety of our patients, clinical providers, and clinical support staff.
- Develops comprehensive plans for operational flow patterns, workflow, and controls, ensuring consistency across the practice. Establishes proper monitoring measures and performance indicators.
- Collaborates with multiple departments for promotional packages and corporate discounts. Initiates, develops, and implements marketing plans for clinical services.
- Plans, assists, sets objectives, and directs work while appraising performance and competencies, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Monitors KPIs to evaluate work performance.
- Collaborates with the Medical Director, the Facility Management Department, and other medical team members to initiate improvement in clinical workflow, patient satisfaction, building safety and maintenance, etc.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; preferably in business management, health administration or healthcare/hospital management
- At least 5 years leadership and administrative experience including personnel management (or same positional capacity)
- Comprehensive knowledge on FDA, DHP & MOPH organizations, guidelines, and policies
- Female, preferred
