Job Purpose The focal point for assuring duties for Sr. Engineer for assigned SCADA projects executions: - Execute the assigned project independently and/or along with the team of engineers for assigned to the project. - Report to Lead / Engineering Manager / Project Manager for the assigned project. - Liaise with EPC / Customer engineers on technical issues. - Expert on related product specification Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - Responsible for all technical aspects of the project. - Responsible for the detailed engineering, configuration & Testing (pre-FAT/FAT/IFAT) - Ensures compliance with project specifications and global standards. - Preparation and control of project documentation (revisions, quality checks & transmittals) - Adhering to project schedule and project quality plan. - Tracking of project scope of work deviations / BOM variations. - Prepare sub-vendor enquiries and technical evaluation. - Effective use of engineering team man hours. Qualification and Experience - Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation / Control Systems Engineering or similar stream. - Minimum 9 to 11 years of relevant experience preferably in Oil & Gas field Required Competencies / skills - SCADA domain expertise for Oil/Gas, Pipeline & Utilities - Telemetry & PLC Systems programming & troubleshooting - Working knowledge on TCP/IP, Serial, Modbus, DNP3, HART, OPC2.0, Foundation Field bus protocol etc. - Working knowledge on various transmitters, control valves, temp/pressure/flow measuring devices, positioner, UV/Heat/Gas/Flame sensors, isolators, barriers, multiplexers, etc. - Working knowledge on Fiber Optic/Wireless/GSM /GPRS/UHF/CDMA communication. - PLC programming - (IEC61131-3) - Networking - Configuration / Administration. - Microsoft OS - System Administration. - Microsoft Office package - Hands-on experience with Yokogawa Fast Tools (FT), STARDOM / PLC preferred.
