We are a well-established Jordanian restaurant dedicated to delivering authentic, high-quality traditional dishes such as **mansaf**, **maqluba**, **shawarma**, **falafel**, **hummus**, and more. We're currently looking to expand our team with a skilled and energetic **Basta Man** to help maintain and enhance our customer experience.

As a **Basta Man**, you will be in charge of preparing and serving food at the restaurant’s front-line station (“basta”). Your role is essential in ensuring quick service, high hygiene standards, and presentation of food that reflects the quality and taste of Jordanian cuisine.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and manage the basta station during service hours
- Prepare and serve traditional Jordanian dishes (e.g., falafel, hummus, shawarma, grilled meats, salads)
- Ensure food presentation is consistent and visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station at all times
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate with kitchen for restocking
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in Levantine or Jordanian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Jordanian food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent hygiene and food safety practices
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Arabic-speaking is a must; English is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
