Position: ROV Project Coordinator

**Description**

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Supervise the day-to-day running of ROV technical activities including overseeing workshop staff and attending to vessel services to ensure effective support and technical assistance is provided as needed.
- Supervise and ensure timely and quality implementation of maintenance and repair plans and activities for all ROV and Video equipment as well as any relevant workshop equipment.
- Ensure all ROV systems inventory is kept updated, monitor all ROV equipment and ensure systematic records keeping process is in place so that historical data is kept, maintained and analyzed to forecast the future.
- Provide technical backup and support to all offshore ROV operations.
- Ensure all signal requirements for ROV positioning systems are maintained efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure contract compliance on all operations where appropriate and assume responsibility for all relevant survey equipment.
- Ensue effective maintenance of own and others’ occupational health and safety and that all relevant policies and measures are taken at all times.
- Ensure safe operations to avoid high impact on the environment by means of complying with occupational QHSE standards.
- Provide recommendations on hiring new subordinates and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform the tasks and activities.
- Supervise the subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance, and review results.
- Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves, and absenteeism.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**Education Qualification**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or exceptionally approved by the VP HR, with the endorsement of BU’s MLT, vocational qualification (electricity and/or hydraulics and/or mechanics) and industry recognized certificates.

**Professional Experience**:

- 5 - 7 years in ROV related services
- 3 years of which in a supervisory position

**Computer Skills**:
**Language Skills**:

- Business fluent English

**Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of Electronics, high voltage electrical equipment
- Understanding of hydraulic equipment preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: QAR12,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
