Business Development Manager

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Responsible for Business development and marketing activities and support the achievement of sales target by specifying company’s products with MEP consultants, Government entities and Master developers.
- Target projects in concept and design stage within Qatar region.
- Develop marketing strategy for Qatar market.
- Create MEP market forecast report for each country in GCC.
- Reporting to the Management with periodic reports: Weekly and Monthly marketing Report, Quarterly marketing Report including forecast.
- Meet with consultants and undertake planning and processes to get company listed as a preapproved vendor with MEP consultants thereby contribute to increase market share.
- Generate Sales leads for Sales team
- Engage with key customers and work together with Sales team to ensure to success of sales lead.
- Support Sales team to get Consultant approvals subsequently material submittals submitted for the commercially finalized project.
- Identify and follow-up new business opportunities
- Analyze and read customer needs, competitor moves and market trends and draw the right short term/tactical but also strategic and long-term conclusions.Maintain and build up relationships and networks with the relevant decision makers beyond direct customers.
- Ensure company’s presence on social media platform.
Preparing marketing plan to ensure company’s participation in Exhibitions/Seminars.
**Qualifications, understanding & training**
- Degree in a Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong technical ability
- Strong project management/sales pipeline skills
- Good marketing skills
- Commercial thinker
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Office, databases and Project Management systems
- Good attention to detail and ability to carry out administrative tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to express ideas with confidence and conviction

- Bachelor's (required)
**Experience**:
- Business Development in Construction Industry in Qatar: 5 years (required)
**Language**:
- Arabic (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Qatar ID (required)
- Qatar Driving License (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
