**MISSIONS**
- Follows-up design requirements for roads & design reports.
- Designing concept solutions for access roads, drop-off laybys, taxi stands, bus stops, walkways, bicycle tracks, P&R facilities, and neighbourhood parking in coordination with the Transport Planning and architecture departments.
- Road and junction concept designs interfacing with Light Rail Transit/ tramways.
- Coordinate the road design to obtain a non-objection certificate (NOC) required for the FRRA.
- Reviews road designs of contractors, sub-consultants and third parties.
- Ensures and assures that the road design and is in line with the regulations.
- Takes responsibility for quantity estimations and lists of items related to roads.
- Acts as a facilitator on behalf of the client with regards to road and TTM proposals by D&B Contractor

**PROFILE**:

- Bachelor’s degree as Road Engineer, Civil Engineer and or equivalent experience required.
- Min. 5 years in road planning sector.
- 5 years’ experience in road / traffic facilities design.
- Experience in Middle East, preferable in Qatar.
- Road projects interfacing with light railway transit.
