**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise installation, maintenance, and inspection of **firefighting systems** (sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, FM-200, CO2, foam systems, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with **Qatar Civil Defense (QCDD)** regulations and other relevant standards (NFPA, FM Global, etc.).
- Conduct **regular audits**, testing, and commissioning of firefighting systems in operational buildings.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for fire protection equipment.
- Review technical drawings, as-built documentation, and ensure conformity to design specifications and authority approvals.
- Lead and mentor firefighting technicians and ensure all safety procedures are followed during maintenance and testing.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on fire system upgrades and modifications.
- Prepare and submit reports to QCDD and other authorities as needed.
- Participate in emergency response planning and fire drills.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering** or a related field from a recognized university.
- **UPDA Grade A or B certification** (MMUP/MME - Qatar).
- **Minimum 12 years of experience**, with at least **5 years in Facility Management** specifically handling firefighting systems.
- Thorough understanding of **NFPA codes**, **QCDD requirements**, and international firefighting standards.
- Proven experience in handling firefighting systems in commercial, residential, or industrial buildings.
- Familiarity with **fire pump control panels**, emergency power systems, and alarm interfaces.
- Strong technical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be currently residing in Qatar with a transferable visa and NOC.
