**Position Type**: Part-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging lectures on design fundamentals, history, and contemporary issues.
- Develop and update course syllabi and learning materials that reflect current trends and innovations in design.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students pursuing careers in design and related fields.
- Mentor students in developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through studio work and independent projects.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and performance.
- Provide constructive feedback on student work, focusing on both technical proficiency and conceptual development.
- Coordinate with the academic administration to ensure alignment with program goals and standards.
- Advocate for inclusive design practices that consider diverse user needs and cultural contexts.
- Teach students the importance of accessibility and ethical considerations in design.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s or Ph.D. in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design and communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English (Arabic will be an added advantage)

**Legal Requirements**:

- Must currently reside in Qatar holding a valid Qatari ID

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 06 months

Pay: QAR150.00 - QAR250.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
