Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our research team on the Sustainable Dhows Retrofitting in Qatar project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Publish findings in high-impact journals and present results.
- Draft policies and procedures related to sustainable dhow retrofitting.
- Prepare content for the Green Guidebook and training materials to support educational dissemination.
- Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students engaged in project activities.
- Collaborate with research team members to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Assist in implementations and finalization of the dhow retrofitting project.
- Compile, analyze, and document research results.
- Support dissemination of findings in conferences, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications:

- PhD in **Electrical Engineering** from a well-recognized institution.
- Strong research and publication record in relevant fields.
- Knowledge and/or experience in:

- Renewable energy systems (preferred).
- Boat/ship electrification or electric propulsion systems (preferred).

- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be currently residing in Qatar and holding a valid QID.
