The Regional Sales & Marketing Director (Middle East) is responsible for the building and managing of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness analysis, pricing, sales incentive plans, and distribution and channel strategy. They will drive sales growth and profitability by providing leadership for in-bound and out-bound marketing activities across multiple channels worldwide. They are responsible for leading and managing a sales & marketing team to achieve company sales targets. Also responsible for developing and implementing sales & marketing strategies, as well as managing relationships with key clients.
**Leadership**:
- Manage and lead business developers, account managers, client service coordinators and marketing team
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
- Monitor individual and team performance against quotas & KPIs, taking corrective action when necessary
- Manage the hiring of needed sales positions and identifies training and developmental priorities for the department to ensure that all employees possess the requisite skills and knowledge to successfully perform their roles and responsibilities
- Ensures appropriate workflow management between employee through appropriate delegation of work.
- Delegating responsibilities to ensure employees members grow as capable participants.
- Coaches and mentor employees as appropriate to improve individual performance and develop a motivated and high-performance team.
- Employ initiatives to develop employees to optimize their capabilities and improve their performance. Including but not limited to setting frameworks, baselines, targets & monitoring practices.
- Influence change within the team and be a change champion ensuring visible management sponsorship of change implementation
- Maintain constant communication with management, employees, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization Strategy:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategy to help achieve or exceed set sales targets aligned with strategic business plan and annual budget
- Set sales targets and expectations with team members, monitor and adjust as necessary in accordance with the sales strategy
- Develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.
- Oversee product and service marketing including product launch management, sales tools, competitive analysis, and general sales support.
- Develop pricing policies and strategies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high profile customers and channel partners.
- Create and implement a marketing plan to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and convert sales
- Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars, and events.
- Lead social media efforts to collect collateral materials, conduct market research, and develop website design and content in support of high visibility/access to company products, services or information.
- Define and direct marketing campaigns for demand creation, lead generation and for lead tracking and management.
- Develop and manage the entire marketing & sales budget.
- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
- Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics (KPIs) for sales funnel management.
- Generate accurate and timely reports on pipeline activity and forecast accuracy
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions
- Identifying new markets for the company’s products or services that have high potential for growth
- Planning and coordinating events such as trade shows or conferences in order to promote products or services
- Attend trade shows and other events on behalf of the company
- Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events.
- Maintaining a list of potential clients who may be interested in the company’s products or services
- Developing and managing relationships with key suppliers Customer Service:
- Create, maintain, and update account plans for key customers and prospects
- Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts
- Understand customer business objectives and challenges, and map company solutions to those needs
- Negotiating contracts with new clients to ensure that both parties’ needs are met
