- Coordinate with customer to access the location, making appointment with customers or contractor for inspection, find the meter belonging to the right customer for mismatch cases, using technical tester or tools to connect the meter to get data, verification of meter associated battery, cable, display, reading, accuracy test, reset, configuration, monitoring meter operation.
- Provide report with trouble shooting, reason of fault, fix the fault, reporting etc. of all kinds and size of meter (Electricity & Water Meter) for any location in Qatar as per Kahramaa's instruction and as per Kahramaa reporting format.
- Installation and replacements of all kinds and sizes of meters (Electricity & Water meters) in any location of Qatar as per KM’s instruction and guide line.
- Prepare Reports and shall be submitted as per KAHRAMAA’s requirement (in soft and hard copy for all CWR).
- Update Site survey and inspection reports in the system and keep records of the same in MS Office Tools for generating various types of reports.
- Assist Kahramaa staff in materials inspection, segregation, sorting, updating stock list and meter data at Kahramaa Warehouse or Stores or at contractor/supplier store. This includes issuing/receiving of materials from contractors/suppliers.- Check the operation of the meter and ensure supply to customer.
- Sort out mismatching customer meters and number plates on site for building wise.
- Fixing of number plates on different type of premises and site situations. The activity shall be coordinated with customer to fix the location of meter, entry to customer premise, etc, including revisit if required.
- Install temporary meter for maintenance cases and bring these meters to Kahramaa Test Bench for further accuracy test to be carried out and justify the result.

**Qualifications**

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical/ Plumbing / instrumentation / Electronic / Electrical Engineering (min. 2 years course) with 3 years’ experience (More experience with less academic qualification can be considered)

**Experience**
- 2 years’ experience in hand on testing & commissioning, installation & repair of all type of meters and all calibers and sizes.
- Computer basic literate in MS Office, Excel and GIS is plus.
- Strong experiences in water and electric field.
- Able to communicate with customer, contactors, etc
- Able to learn the technical training, hand-on work.
- Must have knowledge of the safety standards, rules and regulations
- This position requires extensive traveling between venues/depots during normal / outside office hours.
- This position requires mobile communication outside normal office hours for emergency purposes
