We are urgently looking for a **"Senior Accountant"** with Fix Assets & Inventory and Audit Background can join immediately. Education and Experience: - A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university is required. - Professional certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are considered an added advantage. - A minimum of eight (8) years of total professional experience is required, with at least five (5) years of hands-on experience in Fixed Asset Management and/or Supply Chain Management. - A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience in Qatar. - At least five (5) years of accounting experience in a hospital. - Demonstrated experience in high-volume inventory and/or fixed asset accounting environments. - Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience with a recognized ERP system, such as Oracle (EBS) or SAP. - Proven expertise in closing books of accounts within the General Ledger module of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). - Familiarity with internationally accepted accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). - Proficiency in the Arabic language is mandatory. **Other Skills and Experience**: - Bookkeeping and reconciliation of assets and records. - Assets Controlling - Fixed Asset Tagging, Physical Verification & Audit - Ensure all new assets are accurately tagged and that asset tagging records are kept up to date. - Plan, coordinate, and conduct regular and random physical inventory and fixed asset counts, analyze variances, and implement appropriate corrective actions. - Generate periodic reports highlighting inventory and fixed asset discrepancies and work proactively to investigate and resolve issues. - Verify the status of assets being transferred or scheduled for disposal to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Recommend and initiate procedural improvements based on variance analysis findings to enhance operational efficiency and best practices. - Ensure organization-wide compliance with established inventory and fixed asset policies and procedures. - Provide support to the Inventory and Asset Verification Team, as well as internal and external auditors, during annual statutory audits.
