**Job Title: Assistant Storekeeper**

**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Storekeeper is responsible for supporting the storekeeper in daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment required for facility maintenance projects. This role ensures accurate periodic stock-taking and timely stock issuance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming tools, PPE, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date stock records and ensure timely issuance of the GRN through the ERP system.
- Periodic stock-taking to ensure alignment between physical and system inventory
- **Material Handling**:

- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Support in loading and unloading materials as required.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintaining proper records for all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages to the Storekeeper or Warehouse Manager.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Ensure hazardous material/chemicals are stored in the designated area and MSDS are available.
- Comply with best industry practices in keeping the store clean/tidy and free from any tripping hazards.
- **Coordination and Support**:

- Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams to fulfill stock and material requests.
- Support the Storekeeper in planning and managing inventory based on project requirements and usage patterns.
- Assist in any ad-hoc tasks related to warehouse or inventory management as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Prior experience in warehousing, preferably within a facility maintenance or construction setting.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with the ERP system is necessary.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices

Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
