- _Checks/inspects the water sports areas where he is assigned and ensures that the area, facilities and equipments are clean, orderly and in perfect working condition._
- _Reports to the Water Sports Supervisor if any malfunction or inappropriate condition encountered._
- _Performs basic maintenance of the water sports equipments and coordinates with the Water Sports Supervisor if any spare parts needed in the maintenance/repair basic process._
- _Ensuring the refueling of the motorized equipment on a needful basis._
- _Ensuring that all the required certificates or licenses are updated and valid, inform the immediate supervisor for the renewal in due time._
- _Prior to start of the operations, checks on members amenities and supplies in the area, to ensure that these are sufficient for the day’s operation._
- _Responsible for supporting the supervisor in advising the customers as well as the Recreation team members regarding the water and weather conditions in strict relation with the water sports activities. _
- _Responds to the member’s inquiries on the water sports and recreation facilities and services, making sure that the information given is complete, accurate and timely. _
- _Note down all reservations and appointments, take note of all necessary information from the guests and record appropriately._
- _Briefs the members on whatever safety instructions needed prior to the performance of any Water sports activities._
- _Performs any Water sports related activity (classes, courses, lessons or rental) with/for the Diplomatic Club’s customers._
- _Assists the members while performing their water sports related activities ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment and the complete safety of the guest._
- _Observes members using the facilities in recreation areas and immediately offers assistance as may be required._
- _Be able to provide basic First Aid in the event of any minor accidents, to be fully aware of the procedure in the event of a major accident/emergency. _
- _Perform lifeguard duties, prioritizing life and safety of members especially children who are staying at the beach without adult supervision_
- _Maintain good relationship with members and colleagues, contributes to team spirit._
- _Immediately reports and turn over lost and found item to lost & found office, following required procedures at all times._
- _Should thank each guest upon departure, extend a return invitation and offer a pleasant parting comment; in a friendly and courteous manner_
- _Exhibit personal grooming, appearance and attitude in a manner, which will enhance the guests experience and satisfaction_
- _To be aware of all safety and fire drill procedures and attend training conducted by the Training and the Engineering Departments_
- _Perform all work related requests made by the Water Sports Supervisor & Recreation Manager, which may or might not be directly in the scope of work._
