Provide health care for women related to reproductive health; provide health care before, during and after pregnancy and deliver babies; examine patients, order diagnostic tests and make diagnosis; order medication and treatment.

SKILLS:
COMPUTER SKILLS : Ability to work with a wide variety of computer software programs following written instructions, reading and inputting/responding to information displayed. This includes PC word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database and flow-charting software.

COMMUNICATIONAL SKILLS : Good command of English and Arabic.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Confidentiality. Professionalism. Detail-oriented. Empathy towards patients. Must be able to relate to culturally diverse patients

and community. Must be able to adapt to changing situations and circumstances. Must be willing and able to assume and delegate the needs of clinic

patients, as a member of the health care team. Strong work ethics. Confidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.

Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.

Treat diseases of female organs.

Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.

Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
