Position: Carpenter Foreman

Introduction: As a Carpenter Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all carpentry activities on construction sites. You will be responsible for leading a team of carpenters and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in carpentry and leadership skills will be essential in achieving project success and meeting deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform at their best. Delegate tasks appropriately based on individual skills and experience.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Plan and schedule carpentry tasks to align with overall project milestones.

Quality Control: Ensure that all carpentry work meets established quality standards and adheres to construction drawings and specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.

Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for the carpentry team. Conduct regular safety meetings and provide training on best practices.

Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and tools required for carpentry tasks. Maintain an organized inventory and handle material requisitions.

Carpentry Skills: Demonstrate advanced carpentry skills and knowledge to assist the team when necessary. Offer guidance and problem-solving expertise to overcome challenges.

Time Management: Monitor progress and productivity of the carpentry team, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule. Adjust work plans as needed to meet deadlines.

Reporting: Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered. Prepare daily/weekly reports for project managers and other stakeholders.

Training and Development: Identify training needs within the carpentry team and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with project managers, other foremen, and team members to ensure smooth project flow and collaboration.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter with a track record of successful projects.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training in carpentry is a plus.

As a Carpenter Foreman, you will be a key figure in the successful execution of construction projects. Your ability to lead and inspire your team, combined with your carpentry expertise, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results within the given timeframes.

**Salary**: From QAR2,500.00 per month
