The **Senior Barista** is responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and customer experiences while supporting the daily operations of the café. This role serves as a mentor and lead to junior baristas, ensuring consistency in beverage quality, service standards, and operational efficiency. The Senior Barista also assists with training, inventory management, and shift supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming café environment.
- Train, guide, and support baristas in coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment; perform basic troubleshooting and cleaning.
- Oversee shift operations when the manager is unavailable — including cash handling, opening, and closing duties.
- Monitor beverage quality and consistency, adjusting grind settings or recipes when necessary.
- Contribute to menu development and recommend new beverages or improvements based on customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and stock usage.
- Promote brand values and uphold company standards at all times.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum **2-3 years of experience** as a barista in a busy café or specialty coffee environment.
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic inventory management and POS operation skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passionate about coffee culture and continuous learning.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Barista certification (e.g., SCA, Barista Guild, or equivalent) preferred.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions.

Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
