**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT** is looking for **Lighting Engineer (5 years of experience)**in **Doha, Qatar**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in design development.
- Advanced proficiency in relevant software including AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, ETAP, DiaLux, AGI32.
- Must have thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Extensive experience in Doha/Qatar is highly preferred.

**Job Profile**:

- To conduct and support the delivery of complete Lighting networks/systems in major infrastructure and buildings projects.
- Carry out complete lighting calculation and lighting designs, load schedule and feeder pillar schematics to required standards and quality.
- Develop Lighting deliverables for all phases of a project including conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design
- Develop the design of building lighting (normal and emergency), area lighting, DB schedule, lighting controls and schematics etc.
- Develop typical lighting specifications, installation details - general requirements, testing, and commodities.
- Develop typical lighting calculations (software based), voltage drop calculations, short circuit, and protective device coordination analyses.
- Coordination with other Discipline Engineers as applicable.
- Coordinate with CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs.
- Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities.
- Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
- Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
- Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Seniors or MEP manager.
- Attend and contribute to team and project meetings as required
- Complete accurate time sheets by set deadline.
