**Works Inspector (Structure)**

Parsons is looking for an experienced **Works Inspector (Structure)**to join our team In this role, you will oversee and inspect daily site operations related to structural construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of structural construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and recommending corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
- Coordinate with the construction teams to ensure smooth execution of structural works, such as concrete and steel structures, foundations, and related infrastructure.
- Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with structural works.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for structural works.
- Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that structural components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural construction inspection, with at least 5 years in an inspection role for large-scale infrastructure projects such as bridges, industrial facilities, and other structural components.
- Strong understanding of structural construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to review and check construction work for accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, particularly in the Middle East or GCC.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other structural engineering design software.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at the same time.
