**Architectural Manager**

Qatar

**Roles**:

- Provide overall management and direction for the architectural discipline on the project.
- Support in providing the measurement and other specifications from the as built drawing as required.
- Perform site inspections during the different stages of the installations to ensure the work on site is compliant.
- Provide assistance and solutions to the contractor technical queries during all the stages of the design, installation and decommission.
- Perform and support his manger in all required tasks for the retail in Metro & LRT.
- Conduct design review activities and to ensure QRAIL requirements are met.
- Report any major issues or expected conflicts.
- Set up a review process to ensure branding process remain consistent in the whole discipline across the rail network.
- Review coordination and synthesis between the architectural drawings, MEP, Landscape and structure as required.
- Material, technical details and sample approval for the internal stakeholders.
- Well-versed with Qatar Rail network design

**Responsibilities**:

- Support pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.
- Ensure performance within overhead budgets authorized for the discipline.
- Actively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program. May head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent) is required and typically 10+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience and proven rail experience.
- Proven ability to perform in a managerial capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills (including strong presentation skills), and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software for use in completing architectural design assignments.
