**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Estimating**:

- Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors to gather pricing and quotations.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and project budgets.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and site teams for technical clarifications.
- Update cost databases and maintain records of historical data.

**Drafting**:

- Create and modify detailed CAD drawings for architectural, civil, mechanical, or electrical systems.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and local regulations.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineer/architect feedback or site conditions.
- Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP).

**General**:

- Support project managers in preparing project documentation.
- Attend site visits or meetings when required to gather technical inputs.
- Maintain drawing logs, estimation records, and document control.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in estimation and CAD drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with local building codes and construction regulations.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is an advantage.
- Experience in quantity surveying or tendering processes.
