- Responsible for efficient and effective implementation of purchasing and long-term supply processes to ensure un-interrupted and timely supply of products.
- Research possible item selections
- Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing techniques.
- Ability to perform in a demanding business environment.
- Search for and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers
- Craft purchase order and inventory reports for management
- Solve supply chain problems
- Work within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders
- Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
