**Job description**:
Charterhouse is presently managing a search, for a Deputy Laboratory Manager to join a well-established multinational material testing laboratory in Qatar.

**About the role**
This role will report directly to the General Manager and you will be responsible for managing the operations of 4 laboratories, staffing and optimisation of workflows. You will produce monthly performance reporting which includes financial process improvement.

In conjunction, you will be able to coordinate equipment acquisition, maintenance requirements, accurately checking process and tasks. You will also provide commercial and technical leadership, such as commercial strategy, client relationship management, managing resources, monitoring sales pipeline and contact administration for projects.

Additionally, you will have a good understanding of analysis techniques and reporting when required, with an understanding of the Protocols (ISO17025).

**About you**

You need to have good knowledge of LIMS, taking initiative with a leadership skill, as well as working cooperatively with others to maximise the organisation’s effectiveness.
