**HSE MANAGER-DEPUTY (PROJECT-BASED)**

As the **Deputy HSE Manager**, your core function will be to assist and support the HSE manager with regard to the development, implementation, review, and reporting on the performance of the Project HSE management and its management plans. It is critical that these systems comply with legal and contractual requirements and international HSE standards. You will be required to step in as the HSE manager depending on leave cycles and travel to the various project and supplier sites ensuring good relations and compliance with the various stakeholders including the EPC contractor.
You will provide management support implementing OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards specifically within a construction environment with civil, mechanical, and electrical aspects. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections as well as incident investigations reporting to the HSE manager and the site management team within a matrix organizational structure.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Bachelors in Engineering/Science or equivalent (NEBOSH Dip., Level6)**:

- **7+ yrs of experience in the same position** (as HSE Manager, in Ashghal Roads & Infrastructure)
- Professional OHS Qualifications certified by **NEBOSH (IGC/NGC)**:

- Professional OHS Qualification certified by **OSHA**:

- Professional OHS Qualification certified by **IOSH** (Managing Safely and Working Safely)
- **Safety Management Qualification certified in ISO 45001 as lead auditor**
