The opportunity

Project: This is a conceptualised villages project in the heart and outskirts of Doha.

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking project director to join our established and growing team in Qatar.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the project development and team from start to end.
- Providing direction and support to the project team.
- Planning and implementing of the project from inception to handover of the project.
- Developing full-scale project execution plans.
- Managing the project budget and resource allocation.
- Ensuring the quality assurance of the projects.
- Projecting the evaluations and assessment of results.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project to the client and all stakeholders.
- Implementing and managing the project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Defining the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analysing results, and troubleshooting problem areas.
- Building, developing, and cultivating any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

About you

You will have a degree qualification in civil engineering and be a member of a professional body. You will have experience in project direction. You have knowledge of key project processes, e.g., construction process, procurement routes, design principles/processes.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have a construction or cost consultancy project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
