Category: Quality/Inspection Industry: Water Treatment City/Country: Doha, Qatar Location: Doha **Position : Chemical & Process Consultant** **Location**:Doha, Qatar** **Duration : 12 Months** **Work Status : Resident, Single** **Job Description**: **Qualification and experience**: **Chemical consultant** **The range of specialty experience for the technical consultant includes oilfield production chemistry and related technologies of produced water, seawater treatment and flow assurance**: - Minimum of 20 years of experience working with Offshore facilities. - Membership of an internationally recognized body for oil production, production chemistry, separation and PWT. - A full understanding of offshore operations experience separation and produced water treatment, water injection and gas compression chemical injection optimization and facility assessment and upgrade. - Involvement in the mentoring of host nation national graduates to a high degree; an emphasis being placed on the transfer of knowledge and experience. - Production chemistry studies development and improvements. - Overseeing the writing of technical papers from graduates and experienced engineers. - Experience of a wide range of operators working within an offshore environment. **Process consultant**: **Minimum 20 years experiences. Possess Master Degree in Engineering and IChemE registration.** The range of specialty experiences for the technical consultant includes upstream design and operation expertise, with particular emphasis on separation systems. **Chemical consultant**: **shall complete at least the following two (2) production chemistry studies to support the chemical treatment programs**: - Phase separation treatment assurance for existing and new locations. - Extended Emulsion characterization - Field Foaming Tendency Assessment. - PW Solids fouling and Scaling Tendency "SCHMOO". - Standard method assessment for OIW analysis and definition. - SWI Treatment Study for IOR - SWI Solids and Scaling tendency. - SWI MIC and reservoir souring mitigation. - The technical consultant will be dedicated for the proposed production chemistry studies and the related development of chemical treatment strategy. - A technical supportive for the production chemical team and treatment program contracts. - Shall retain accurate records for SERVICES carried out. - Shall provide technical support during execution of the contract. The technical support team, answering technical queries, continuous improvement and value adding projects related to the contract scope. - Shall prepare studies progress plans and project management "DMAC" milestone. - Shall develop studies monthly progress reports, performance report and final report. - Shall develop the foundation of the studies, technical consultancy and support including the strategy, structure, processes and systems and products/ scope of services. - Shall present the outstanding scopes for COMPANY and propose alternative solution. - Shall support based on setup of strategy the chemical treatment performance management, continuous improvement, and risk/quality management. - Shall prepare and present the results of the studies, full technical to COMPANY (including, but not limited to, QA/QC documentation and certification, and performance test results) on all SERVICES carried out upon delivery to COMPANY. **Process consultant**: - Shall complete the work as specified - The process consultant will be dedicated for the proposed production improvement studies and the related development of the processes. - Shall retain accurate records for services carried out. - Shall prepare studies progress plans and project management milestone. - Shall develop studies monthly progress reports, performance report and final report. - Shall develop the foundation of the studies, technical consultancy and support including the strategy, structure, processes and systems and products/ scope of services. - Shall present the outstanding scopes for company and propose alternative solution. - Shall prepare and present the results of the studies to company (including, but not limited to, qa/qc documentation and certification, and performance test results) on all services carried out upon delivery to company.
