The Commis Pastry Chef assists in the preparation and presentation of all pastry and dessert items. They follow standard recipes, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support the pastry team in delivering high-quality baked goods and desserts to meet the standards of the establishment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing cakes, pastries, bread, cookies, and other desserts under the guidance of the Pastry Chef.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards accurately.
- Ensure all ingredients and tools are available before beginning preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section at all times.
- Comply with food hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Properly store food items and ingredients (FIFO method).
- Support the team during busy service times.
- Help with receiving and inspecting pastry supplies.
- Maintain equipment in good condition and report any issues.
- **Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery (freshers with training may be considered)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Pay: From QAR2,100.00 per month
