**Position Summary**
The Hygiene Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of all hygiene and sanitation standards at Farm to Table's food processing facility. This role ensures that the production environment adheres to regulatory standards, customer expectations, and internal policies, safeguarding the quality and safety of our food products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Hygiene Management**:
- Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene policies and procedures in the facility.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and local health regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and sanitation activities for equipment, facilities, and tools.
- **Team Supervision**:
- Train and supervise cleaning and sanitation staff to ensure proper execution of hygiene protocols.
- Conduct daily inspections to verify the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation activities.
- Provide feedback and corrective actions for any non-compliance.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**:
- Maintain and update hygiene-related documentation, including cleaning schedules, checklists, and reports.
- Regularly inspect high-risk areas and provide detailed reports to management.
- Assist in external audits and inspections, addressing any hygiene-related findings.
- **Pest Control**:
- Oversee pest control programs to ensure the facility remains free from infestations.
- Collaborate with pest control service providers and monitor their effectiveness.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Promote awareness of hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols among staff.
- Conduct regular training and refresher sessions on hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used by all relevant staff.
- **Problem Solving and Improvement**:
- Identify areas for improvement in hygiene and sanitation processes.
- Propose and implement strategies to enhance overall hygiene standards.
- Investigate and address hygiene-related incidents or complaints promptly.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food processing environment with a focus on hygiene or quality assurance.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- **Languages**: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
