Condition Monitoring Assistant

We are hiring on behalf of a renowned multinational client—a global leader in engineering and technology services—for the position of **Condition Monitoring Assistant**. This role is part of a prestigious electrical infrastructure project in partnership with Kahramaa.

**Location**: Doha, Qatar
**Contract Duration**: 2 Years (Renewable)
**Working Days**: 6 Days a Week
**Working Hours**: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
**Start Date**: Immediate Joiners Preferred
**Salary**: QAR 6,500 /Per Month

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader - Condition Monitoring.
- Carry out assigned field tasks in line with approved method statements and safety guidelines.
- Conduct Partial Discharge (PD) testing and Infrared Thermography (IR) assessments on MV/HV substations and associated equipment.
- Use field diagnostic tools to identify abnormalities and immediately report deviations to the Team Leader.
- Support in maintaining the integrity of equipment and ensure zero damage to Kahramaa assets during operations.
- Accurately collect and record inspection data using digital devices in accordance with site procedures.
- Actively participate in toolbox talks and strictly adhere to all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols on site.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Three-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution accepted by Kahramaa.

**Experience Requirements**
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems, especially within transmission and distribution substations.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment and associated safety measures.
- Practical experience with PD detection methods and analysis techniques used in substation monitoring.

**Mandatory Certifications**
- **Thermography Level-1 Certification** from an accredited institute approved by Kahramaa.
- Valid certifications in **PD detection**, electrical safety, and substation monitoring (must be available upon request).
- Comprehensive understanding of **EHS standards**related to high-voltage electrical environments.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency in electrical condition monitoring and fault diagnostics.
- Skilled in using handheld and digital measurement tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and observational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with digital documentation and data entry is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
