We are looking for a **Substation Control and monitoring System Inspector / Substation Inspector **for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Onshore, Doha, Qatar**

**Start Date: ASAP**

Qualification and Experience Required:

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SCMS or substation control systems.
- Solid understanding of SCMS and substation control protocols.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in electrical substations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Kahramaa SS experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections, testing, and quality checks on SCMS installations within substations.
- Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure installations are aligned with project requirements.
- Validate system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and report inspection results, including any identified issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address and resolve any SCMS-related issues.
- Assist in commissioning activities and support handover to operational teams.
- Conduct functional test of SCS system to verify performance and compliances.
- Testing of cyber security measures, including firewall set up and configuration.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of the equipment that communicate via IEC61850 and IEC104.
