Charterhouse is working with a globally recognised engineering firm that specialise in various sectors such as rail & transportation, machinery, aerospace & defence and energy. Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager to oversee the department and its portfolio of engineering maintenance services, which have most recently been contracted to the delivery of a multi-billion-dollar Metro line project.
**About the role**
This role will ensure overall establishment of the management system and its effectiveness which includes Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Risk management system. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Director Office, the incumbent will develop, implement and manage integrated management systems, striving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and all other contractual requirements.
In conjunction, this senior position will support the Maintenance Director to establish the IMS and ensure established policies and Management Systems comply with international standards. Additionally, the role will drive quality assurance programs within the organisation in search of continuous improvement by addressing audit findings with the required actions.
The Senior QAQC Manager will manage the quality control activities based on the risk profile for all subsystems, striving improvement and ensuring compliance with approved O&M, asset maintenance documents and contractual requirements related to the organisation. This role will cultivate a quality culture within its organisation and focus on delivery excellence, whilst managing the costs of the service to ensure the metro line project is delivered within budget.
