Lead Quality Assurance Officer

To be successful in this role you will be responsible for smooth functioning of daily operational activities of Quality Assurance department and Hygiene department. Implements Management vision to the team. Plans to establish a fool proof Food safety standard system that is on par with international standard

To achieve success in this role you will need to:
- Support the Line Manager in development of Quality procedures and standards, certifying processes and procedures in order to confirm regulatory standard, maintaining Hygiene standards as specified by Airlines and ISO standards.- In continuation of developing a strong food safety culture, will assist the Line Manager to conduct internal and external supplier audits.- Ensures all changes to the set quality process are communicated, documented and implemented within the CC network to ensure a consistent Quality Assurance process.- Provide training, coaching and feedback to the network to make sure new policies and procedures for quality are understood.-
- Designs specifications for internal and external customer satisfaction surveys to ensure the provided customer service meets customer expectations.- Identifies prevalent trends in quality management techniques to adjust QR quality management standards where necessary.- Develops target agreements for Contact Centre (CC) Managers on the basis of agreed quality KPls (Key Performance Indicators) and quarterly reviews to be conducted to ensure KPls are achieved.- Prepares and analyses internal and external quality reports to update Head Office and CC management on qualitative performance of CC network.- Analyses and monitors agreed quality initiatives to evaluate their success.- Develop and study weekly statistical summary report on voyage complaints and KPI of QA and Cleaning to measure food safety standards and propose areas of improvement.- Control accidents of staff within the department that can occur while on job by providing proper safety training and monitoring.- Implementation of Hygiene and Safety guidelines and instructions.- Liaise effectively with purchase for smooth supply of chemicals and budgeted equipment.- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Job Specific Skills:
Essential- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Level 3 & 4 Training on Food Safety.- Good spoken and written English- Ability to understand current process and identify areas of improvement.- Skilled in drafting audit report and recommending corrective action.- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers. Skilled in planning and organizing smooth functioning of department.- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.- Ability to understand and resolve issues.- Ability to react to business requirement and come up with amicable decisions.- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills

Preferred- Knowledge of HACCP Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, Food Safety Management system
