Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams to plan and execute the installation of instruments
- Install, test, calibrate and maintain various types of instruments and control systems
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate and install instrument supports and brackets
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and control systems, and provide solutions to resolve them
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all installation, maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, engineers, and project managers to successfully complete projects within budget and timeline
- Document work performed, including installation details, testing results, and any required maintenance or repair work
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of instrumentation and control systems
