To supervise and direct in prompt, efficient and friendly serving of food and beverage.
- To assist servers, bussers and host staff in their job duties as necessary.
- To ensure all opening, closing and running side work is completed on a daily basis
- To act as a liaison between kitchen and front of house employees and operations.
- Assist in the training and development of team members
- To communicate effectively, in giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance.
- To work quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through manager.
- To ensure that guest are welcome in best hospitable manner, Greet and welcome the guests, offer menu card and assist the guest in taking orders while providing them excellent service.
- To promote suggestive selling and increase the sales revenue
- To ensure high standard of service and good quality of food is served in the outlet.
- To maintain high standard of personal grooming as well as staff grooming, hygiene and wear clean uniform while on duty.
- To operate the cash register, cash handling, making sales reports.
- To ensure that the work area and work stations are clean and tidy and should maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, service areas and wash rooms.
- To maintain open and positive communication with subordinates and junior staff. Work as a team with positive attitude and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- To be knowledgeable of all the menu item and specials and item specifications, and adhere to those specifications.
- To manage inventory control, stock control.
- To manage staff duty scheduling and payroll control.
- To ensure that the outlet is managed and operated in conformity with Municipality health requirements, and regulations.
- To ensure that requirements related to Food Safety (ISO 22000:2018), Quality Management (9001:2015) and HSE (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) are implemented and maintained within the department.
- All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
- Food safety/HSE Policy and objectives (as applicable to the department) to be followed and updated.
- To carry out responsibilities assigned by your reporting Managers in accordance with Company’s Policies & Procedures and any applicable state and Qatar Laws.
