Senior Manager Manpower Business Support

About your Role
You will create added value to the QR Group by building trustworthy relationship with finance and business stakeholders through strategic and insightful reporting and analysis for senior and executive management within Finance and Business. You will act as a business partner and a single point of contact for senior / executive management in Finance for respective business. You will act as a ‘liaison’ bridging finance (Business Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Centers of Expertise) with that of the assigned business units. You will ensure compliance with QR accounting policies & procedures.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organisation by ensuring optimal manpower planning solutions and providing insightful information to the senior management team.
- Responsible for development of strategic financial plans by providing management with all information necessary to measure financial performance that will assist and steer the business toward sustained profitability.
- Advise the CFO and other key members of the senior management on financial planning, budgeting, manpower requirements, investment priorities, and policy matters.
- Ensure effective communication and relationship between senior management Finance and Business. Act as a business partner for business and as a bridge between business and finance in an open, transparent way.
- Lead managers and manage teams and promote a helpful positive environment.
- Manage, capture and integrate benchmarked data into strategic planning, ensuring appropriate focus on delivering competitive advantage.
- Financial analyses to include monthly / quarterly reporting of KPI’s, cost of investment and potential financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, generation of EVA metrics including IRR, NPV and payback analysis and highlighting any risks and opportunities associated with any projects.

**Qualifications**:
Knowledge Skills & Experience
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of job related experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an airline management position, preferably operations
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an airline operations management role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an airline manpower planning role
- Experience in managing and maintaining large scale manpower programs
- Understanding key inputs and requirements to develop, maintain and assist with large scale manpower planning and management.
- Strong developed “soft skills”, high level of integrity, open / transparent, team player
- Customer centric driven approach
- Experience working to tight internal reporting timescales and managing responsibilities/work interruptions, while meeting deadlines
- Knowledgeable in all large scale airline operations departments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances, understand business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account
