Key Account Manager

: Management of key accounts by fulfilling the customer requirements and contractual obligations. Ensure the relationship with the customer is satisfying and their business with DSV is growing on a continuous basis.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Responsibilities:
- Manages the allocated accounts throughout the tenure of the relationship and promotes the partnership between
key customers and DSV
- Grows and expands the business with key accounts through cross selling, volume growth and regional expansion
- Fulfils all key accounts requirements and expectations in Qatar and regionally whenever needed.
- Resolves all operational and financial issues pertaining to assigned accounts
- Works closely with Operations Departments and regional DSV offices and harmonize the services and
agreements offered to Key accounts
- Analyzes problems or issues withholding growth, finds solutions, and takes specific measures to overcome them
- Reports to the Business Development Manager on key accounts issues, revenues growth plans, action plans to
resolve outstanding issues, etc.
- Leads high value bids and proposals while developing a compatible win strategy
- Any other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet the business
exigencies
Communication:
Internal - Business Development, Operations team, Network
External - Stakeholders & Vendors related to operational system.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
- Forwarding and Logistics background preferred
- Bachelors / Master’s degree in Sales and Marketing
- 5-8 years of experience, of which a minimum of 2 years should be of managing large key accounts.
- Self-Managed, Result Driven & outgoing personality
- Proactive and innovative.
- Structured and organized.
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to grasp quickly & able to sell the knowledge he/she gathers.
- Diplomatic, influencing & trustworthy
- Extrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities
