**About the role**

Leads the development and authoring of Corporate Affairs policies and standards, including relevant strategies. Leads the development and delivery of audits and internal assurance regarding alignment to regulation and business policy across Qatar Airways Group. Identify and evaluate statutory and non-statutory requirements and auditing controls across Qatar Airways Group. Develop and manage processes for business continuity and change management for Corporate Affairs. Some responsibilities of the role include:

- Lead the development and authoring of all Aeropolitical and Corporate Affair policies, procedures and standards to improve efficiencies and service quality.
- Develop strategies and programmes for auditing and compliance throughout Qatar Airways Group business units locally and globally at Outstations against regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage change initiatives within projects to assure relevance by increasing adoption of new standards and processes in Corporate Affairs.
- Engage and consult with relevant stakeholders to identify and evaluate business processes and requirements in order to develop policies and standards to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Identify and draft structured standards and policies for Corporate Affairs through analyzing and evaluating internal and external requirements and business processes.
- Develop systems of standards, policies and strategies aligned to local, regional and international best practice quality management systems for example ISO 9001.
- Responsible for authoring, updating and maintaining all policies, standards and strategies to improve efficiencies and service delivery. Responsible for preparing policies and standards and procedures relating to assurance and compliance activities. Identify necessary changes to business processes, systems and technology and incorporate into the review of standards, policies and strategies to ensure it remains current.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Essential
- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level

Preferred
- Membership of recognized Environmental professional body.
- Membership of an accredited Project Management body.

Previous Experience:
Essential
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience
- Design and delivery of compliance audit and assurance programmes in large organization.

Preferred
- Management role with significant experience influencing senior and technical level stakeholders.
- Experience in the implementation of ISO Standards within large organizations.
- Airline/airport industry experience in an environmental role
