As Tour Guide ll, you should be a multilingual guide who is qualified to accompany designated people in familiarization trips with focus on media personals, journalists, athletes and big groups assignments. You will professionally represent Discover Qatar and provide seamless and holistic guest experience through maintaining high quality service delivery standard.

Accountabilities:

- Escorting individuals or groups to tour site locations, provide information about the history and culture of the places they visit and answer customers inquiries related to the attractions.
- Resolve any problem with itineraries and deal with customer complaints in a solution-oriented manner to ensure smooth tour operations and customer satisfaction.
- Act as ambassador of the Discover Qatar and present the country in a professional way, delivering incentive and familiarization trips to the customers and tourists and represent DQ and Qatar through maintaining a professional and friendly mannerism while dealing with clients.
- Create contingency plans to follow in case of cancellation, closures or weather change that impede on the progress of the tour in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Making sure that the group follows and adheres laws and regulations to ensure full compliance with the local authorities.
- Report all service delivery failings and Customers' feedback to Discover Qatar and provide tour report by the end of each assigned tour to support improvement plans of DQ QRH services.
- Assist with scheduling stops and boarding during excursions and accommodate special requests from individuals within the group with physical or health limitations that should be considered prior and during the tour.
- Work with management to develop new tour routes based on the site visitors have expressed interest in.

**Qualifications**:

- High School/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or Equivalent/ Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years of tour guiding experience
- Must be a good team member, well-groomed, and sociable
- Command of English language
- Possess factual knowledge of Qatar history, geography, growth and development
- Computer literacy is a must
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
- Be flexible and pro-active, enthusiastic and friendly
