Urgent requirement for a Vice President of Investment (PM/FM/Fixed Income) to based in Qatar for a major financial institution.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to market conditions.
- Provide strategic oversight for fixed income portfolio and fund management teams, ensuring optimal performance.
- Oversee portfolio management with a focus on interest rate risk, credit analysis, and asset allocation.
- Monitor portfolio performance, making timely adjustments to achieve investment objectives.
- Lead the development of fixed income funds, ensuring adherence to performance benchmarks and regulatory standards.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, prioritizing client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of investment professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of fixed income markets, including interest rate forecasts, credit risk, and economic indicators.
- Make informed investment decisions based on thorough research and quantitative analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely performance reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and oversee audit processes.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and relevant events to strengthen market presence.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10-15 years in fixed income investment management, with emphasis on portfolio and fund management.
- Proven track record in managing substantial fixed income portfolios with consistent performance results.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive team performance and collaboration.
- Advanced analytical skills, including fixed income modeling, risk management, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Professional certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (Level 3) required.
- Proven experience in managing fixed income portfolios or funds outside the MENA region.
