Our client, a business conglomerate in Qatar is recruiting health care staff for their state-of-the-art cardiac center with a capacity of 89 beds in **Libya.**

**Job Description: Emergency Nurse (CN2)**

**Location: Misrata, Libya**

**Salary : $1,800-$2,200 (6,570.00 (QAR) - 8,030.00 (QAR) ( 10 -12% Tax will be deducted )**

**Joining Flight Ticket: Provided by Company**

**Accommodation and Transportation : Provided by company**

**Job Summary**

The Emergency Nurse (CN2) is responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute, life-threatening, or trauma-related conditions within the Emergency Department (ED). The role involves swift assessment, triage, stabilization, and treatment of patients across all age groups, in alignment with international standards of emergency and critical care.

**Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency & Trauma Care**
- Conduct rapid assessment and triage of patients on arrival to the Emergency Department.
- Provide immediate stabilization, resuscitation, and advanced nursing interventions for critically ill or injured patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, and life-saving procedures as appropriate.
- Assist physicians during emergency interventions including intubation, chest tube insertion, and wound care.
- Deliver trauma care such as hemorrhage control, fracture immobilization, and shock management.

**Patient Care & Safety**
- Monitor patient vitals, ECG, and clinical responses during emergency interventions.
- Perform CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) when indicated.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, discharge, and follow-up care.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention, control measures, and safety protocols.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in high-pressure situations.
- Participate in emergency simulations, drills, and continuous training to ensure clinical preparedness.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and emergency care evaluations.

**Job Knowledge & Skills**
- In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing practices, trauma protocols, and critical care interventions.
- Skilled in resuscitation, advanced airway management, IV access, and emergency pharmacology.
- Preferred certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Ability to remain composed and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills in high-acuity settings.
- Experience with EMR systems (SAP or equivalent preferred).

**Experience Requirements**
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in an Emergency Department or Trauma Center.
- Previous work experience in GCC or international tertiary hospitals (preferred).

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Diploma in Nursing (accepted).
