**Sr. Planning Engineer**

**Experience**
- Minimum 12 to 15 years of project planning and scheduling,with at least 5 years in a senior role on large scale infrastructure projects.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage planning and claims for multi-million/billion projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.
- Interpret construction drawings to develop detailed construction plans, presentations, and related documents.
- Implement planning standards, policies, and procedures to streamline project management.
- Lead a team of planners to achieve project planning objectives.
- Prepare and monitor baseline, recovery, working, and revised schedules using Primavera P6 (cost and resource-loaded).
- Develop and track project progress through S-curves, histograms, resource curves, and procurement schedules.
- Monitor the project's critical path and adjust schedules to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager or Construction Manager to review potential changes and identify cost savings or additional costs.
- Conduct delay analysis for EOT claims and coordinate with the commercial department on claims.
- Oversee project risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies, maintaining an updated risk register.
- Prepare variation programs for additional design changes and manage scope changes impacting the schedule.
- Develop alternative construction programs to address delays and meet final completion dates.
- Review subcontractor schedules, track their performance, and assess entitlement for time extensions.
- Attend project review meetings, ensuring clear communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support management by preparing cash flow and other financial reports for project financial tracking.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of long-lead materials and maintain procurement logs.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead plans, and productivity reports
