Program Manager

As a Program Manager - Warehousing & Logistics, you would be responsible to provide operational and technical expertise to ensure effective program management in warehousing and logistics. Additionally, you will oversee and manage projects from requirements gathering phase through implementation with emphasis on driving delivery and stakeholder management to ensure timely and effective project implementation and management.

To achieve success in this role you will need to:
- Collect, validate and challenge various stakeholder departments’ operational and strategic requirements and accurately aggregate, communicate and report on them for effective project/program management.- Represent end-user department during design and construction of an integrated warehousing facility(s) providing relevant and timely information, requirements, reviews and feedback to ensure a cost effective and accurate design and delivery.- Work with internal stakeholders and external consultants as needed to develop standard operating procedures/manuals and operating models for the effective operation and management of an integrated warehousing facility(s).- Liaise with external stakeholders including government and semi-government agencies at various levels for information, regulations, business & legal requests, and formal communications.- Review, analyze and report on technical/due diligence reports on other department’s real estate projects, property renovation plans, design schemes, and provide insights into costs, schedules, risks, and plans and highlight any issues or risks to the management.- Work with management to ensure adequate budget is included for all development projects, renovations, repairs and maintenance and oversee/track expenditures to keep operations running smoothly across the department.- Track tasks, due dates and take necessary actions. Report, coordinate with internal & external parties and follow up on completion to ensure targets (results, timelines & quality) are met as planned.- Provide and coordinate clear and comprehensive specifications, guidelines, requirements and goals to the developers and consulting firms delivering QR projects to ensure the delivered projects are as per QR requirement and plan.- Identify, document risks and issues, track and action until completion / mitigation, including but not limited to risks/issues that are commercial, delivery-related, etc.- Ensure the success of the project through close follow-up, taking personal initiative to coordinate actions, and resolve or escalate issues as and when required for the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

You should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 7+ years of job-related experience.

Essential- Background in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate or related field with experience in Warehouse Planning/Management/Operations, Logistics, 3PLs- Experience in coordinating and supervising large and complex projects of budgets more than $ 1M, and 5+ stakeholders/parties- Project management experience managing & delivering large projects/transactions from concept stage till stabilized operation- Experience / exposure to warehouse design principles, layouts and floor plan design reviews, property refurbishment projects, etc.- Understanding of Customs regulations / procedures, Bonded/Non-Bonded processing, Free Zones, etc.

Preferred
- Other commercial / office real estate management experience is a plus
